The Harrisville Conservation Commission held a special meeting at Town Offices at 705 Chesham Road on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 6:00 pm.

Members present: Winston Sims, Andrea Polizos, Les LaMois
Members absent: Harry Wolhandler and Jay Jacobs

The meeting opened at 6:00 pm.

Agenda
The special meeting was called to consider a contribution from the HCC to the Seaver Silver Lake Land Trust for improvements to the Silver Lake Boat ramp and the surrounding area.

Don Scott, Presenter
Don Scott described to the commission the proposed plan for erosion mitigation and shoreline enhancements to the committee. The request from Mr. Scott, on behalf of the SSLT and the Association, was for $5,000 toward the total cost of the project.  The group discussed current town ownership of the subject property as well as the funds already raised by the Land Trust and the Silver Lake Association.

Upon completion of the discussion, Andrea Polizos made a motion for the HCCC to approve the $5,000.00 contribution to the Seaver Silver Lake Land Trust for the proposed work at the Silver Lake Boat Ramp. Les LaMois seconded. All voted in favor.
