Harrisville residents and friends are invited to attend our next Community Conversation from 6:00 to 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24 in the Granite Mill.
This three times yearly gathering is sponsored by the Town Planning Board. Our upcoming conversation will give you an opportunity to talk with neighbors and other townspeople about two possible town warrants:
- Village Crosswalks, Trails & Town Walkability
- Broadband & Cell Improvements
The Planning Board thinks these two possible warrants may also be aids to the town’s long-term economic development, to its quality of life and to its capacity to attract younger couples with children – the key stimulant to the Wells Memorial School student population.
We will also have brief status reports from the Gym and Community Activities working groups
We begin with supper at 6:00 pm and request a donation of $5 for pizza, salad, dessert.
Discussion will start at 6:30 pm. Please join us. Babysitting will be provided – please contact us by Jan 15, Sunday, if you are bringing children who will need this service.
We’re looking forward to an energetic conversation. Contact Sherry Sims at firstname.lastname@example.org or Ned Hulbert at email@example.com with any questions or suggestions.
